A report card is not listed as a requirement in the SC home school laws. A report card is similar to the progress report, with the exception that it only provides a quarterly view of the student’s grades and an annual view of attendance, and that it does not present a semi-annual view of the student’s progress. While maintaining a report card is not a requirement, it is still a tool the parent may find useful for communicating grades with their students, tutors, counselors, etc.
